We are extremely delighted to announce the allotment of ISSN number to our inhouse proceedings SPAST Reports (ISSN: 3048-5010).
What it means?
Having an ISSN number implies that the proceedings journal will have a DOI and subsequently we are moving closer to the path of indexing in databases like SCOPUS, EI Compendex, INSPEC and other international databases.
What it means for Authors?
We at VectMag have been aiming to bring a cost-effective and reliable alternative to widely sought after proceedings like E3S Web of conferences, Materials Today Proceedings etc. The days of long wait cycles is over now, we are committed to rapid publishing and indexing.
How you can help?
We request all our members to contribute towards SPAST Reports with a few articles every month and once indexed SPAST Reports shall remain our community's the cost effective workhorse for publishing.
Road Ahead
Please be advised that we shall migrate towards becoming the highly reputed Elsevier Digital Commons platform within the next 3 to 6 months. We are in the final phases of talks with the Elsevier's team. Also please note that SCOPUS, EI Compendex, SSRN and INSPEC etc. is owned by Elsevier.
