A. Mirzazadeh is Professor of Industrial Engineering at Kharazmi University in Iran. He earned his Ph.D. from Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran. His interest research areas are Uncertain Decision Making, Production/Inventory Control, Supply and Operations Management, Development of Quality Management and Problem-Solving Tools and Stochastic Processes. He has more than 80 research papers published in the high quality journals such as International Journal of Systems Science, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, Applied Mathematical Modeling, International Journal of Production Research, Annual of Operations Research, Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Journal of Engineering Manufacture, and etc.

He is Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Supply and Operations Management (IJSOM) which is indexed in various databases including SCOPUS, SCImago Journal & Country Rank.

Twenty-five years of experience in providing expert services, consulting and management responsibilities including: design and improvement of quality System in four companies, designing data base for managers selection in power zones companies of Iran, feasibility study for PU/PVC skin production line for the first time in Iran and Carbon-Zinc dry battery, managing of the planning department of combined cycle power plants in Iran Power Development Company (IPDC) and etc.

Supervising several Post Doc Researcher and PhD, MSc and BSc students with the successful achievements, Such as: Finalist in the Europt best MSc thesis award, Postdoc and PhD admission in the high-level Universities (Especially in Europe, USA, and Canada), and Be the member of National Elites Foundations in Iran.
