However, with the changing times, they have realized the need to comply with the new norms established by SCOPUS and have decided to focus more on single-discipline conferences.
From now on there will be several field specific conferences instead of one or two multi-disciplinary conference.
This move will not only help them to comply with the norms but also provide a more specialized platform for researchers.
This move will also help VectMag's mission of providing an affordable and stable publishing platform for both EI Compendex and SCOPUS. Please note, EI Compendex is a subset of the SCOPUS database and indexes only Engineering articles.
VectMag has already hosted some successful multidisciplinary conferences in the past, such as the First International Conference on Smart Green Connected Societies (ICTSGS-1), which was sponsored by the Electrochemical Society.
