Youth Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Tourism: A Catalyst for Achieving SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)

Sustainable tourism is a key driver of equitable economic development, job creation, and environmental protection. The entrepreneurship of the youth has a great role to play in the development of sustainable tourism through innovation, digital evolution, and ethical business practices. Theoretical Model: This study proposes a theoretical model based on entrepreneurial orientation, digital skills, sustainability awareness, government support, and tourism innovation to explore their impact on sustainable tourism entrepreneurship among young people. The proposed framework further investigates the role of sustainable tourism entrepreneurship in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8), which emphasizes the importance of decent work and economic growth. It offers a theoretical framework, formulates research questions and hypotheses, and describes the methodology of future empirical research.
