Abstract
Abstract: Silver nanoparticles were successfully synthesised from AgNO3 through a reliable, eco-friendly, and simple green route using oyster spent mushroom waste. This review discusses the use of oyster mushroom spent as a green reducing and capping agent of the AgNP synthesis for their potential antimicrobial agents. The AgNPs synthesised by oyster spent exhibit 11-40 nm particle sizes that have excellent antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including multidrug-resistant bacteria.
