Abstract

This study has investigated the performance of hydrogen-assisted CRDI engine with low-viscosity alcohol pilot fuels. The existence of 20% hydrogen energy share improved the efficiency, decreased the energy consumption and exhaust emissions, and showed a practical dual-fuel strategy to support the cleaner transportation and contribute to the SDGs 7, 9, and 13.
